The Fragrance

Bake is AKRO's addictive cupcake fragrance. Everyone has their own favourite sweet treat, and for Akro, it's the small, but perfectly delicious lemon cupcake—an item we just can’t resist any time we walk past a good bakery. To honour our favourite cupcakes, we created BAKE, a gourmand fragrance made up of Tart Lemon notes, followed by sweet Vanilla and rich, nutty Praline. BAKE is so good, you might not need that second cupcake after all.

The Perfumer

Olivier Cresp is a French perfumer. Born in Grasse, he grew up in a family of flower growers who passed on to him their passion for beautiful scents. He was awarded the title of master perfumer in 2006.

He is the creator of the gourmand notes family, with Thierry Mugler's famous Angel, which blends sweet, vanilla, chocolate and caramel notes.

He has created many successful fragrances for some of the biggest names in international perfumery.

He says he's always looking for the perfect fragrance, but hasn't found it yet. He says that his fragrances should be a pleasure for himself and for others, and that they should give the wearer confidence.
