The Fragrance

Cuir de Fleur is the signature perfume of C RAY. It brings the collection's shared accord fully into focus: osmanthus, maté, oakmoss and vegetal leather. Sambac jasmine, green tea, orange blossom and apricot illuminate the leather structure to create a contemporary floral green trail. Layering: Wear it alone as the house signature or layer it to deepen the floral, green and leather facets of another C RAY fragrance. The Fleur de Cuir accord reinvents the smell of vegetal leather through its notes of osmanthus, maté, oakmoss, suederal and pyrogenic wood. Jean-Michel Duriez worked this emblematic accord to create the new opus of the house. A fresh start - preserving the imprint of the signature quartet - lifted by sambac jasmine, green tea and orange blossom, which bring an explosion of freshness. Central material: The Fleur de Cuir accord - the house's signature quartet (osmanthus, maté, oakmoss, vegetal leather) reinforced here by suederal and a pyrogenic wood that signal its full hold. The Brand

C_RAY's approach is to recapture the spirit of Cologne, historically associated with freshness and a daily ritual, while giving it the structure and sophistication of an eau de parfum.

The collection brings together seven unisex fragrances, designed around central materials and distinct olfactory families. The compositions can be worn alone or layered, according to individual preferences.

This layering possibility is based on a shared accord called Fleur de Cuir. It combines four characteristic materials: maté, with vegetal and herbaceous facets; osmanthus, with fruity nuances reminiscent of apricot and leather; oakmoss, with undergrowth accents; and juniper, with woody and smoky tones. Their dosage varies from one composition to another, creating a common thread between the perfumes.

The Perfumer

Arturetto Landi is Italian, trained as a chemist, and became a perfumer by chance. A temporary job at a fragrance company in England changed his path. After growing up on the Italian Riviera with a father who was a chef, he trained at H&R in Holzminden, then worked in New York, Paris, Tokyo, Hamburg, Vienna, and Dubai.

The Middle East introduced him to agarwood, which became the backbone of his work. His style is expansive, dense, and theatrical. He likes warm, woody, leathery oud, combined with resins, ambers, flowers, and spices. Contrasts prevail over restraint.

In 2014, he launched his own house. His philosophy can be summed up in five words: modesty, patience, imagination, passion, discernment.
