The Fragrance

Myrrhe & Bois Brûlés is a gourmand woody eau de parfum built around resinous myrrh and smouldering woods. Green apple and spices open the composition before leather, oakmoss, cade and juniper woods leave a warm, smoky trace. Created by Jean-Michel Duriez, it can be worn alone or layered with Poire & Santal Blanc. Layering: Poire & Santal Blanc brings a velvety, creamy softness to the myrrh and burnt woods. A chapel where the fire has just gone out. Arabian myrrh gives the body - resinous, sweet - lifted by notes of liquorice, star anise and apple, and a breath of incense. At the heart, this accord of burnt woods that signs the composition: the warmth that remains, the trace. Oakmoss and smoked leather hold the note, long after. Central material: Myrrh - sacred resin harvested by incision on Commiphora trees in the Arabian peninsula. A goldsmith's matter: resinous, balsamic and lightly sweet at once. It gives the perfume its spine and its depth of time - the ingredient that does not fade.

The Brand

C_RAY's approach is to recapture the spirit of Cologne, historically associated with freshness and a daily ritual, while giving it the structure and sophistication of an eau de parfum.

The collection brings together seven unisex fragrances, designed around central materials and distinct olfactory families. The compositions can be worn alone or layered, according to individual preferences.

This layering possibility is based on a shared accord called Fleur de Cuir. It combines four characteristic materials: maté, with vegetal and herbaceous facets; osmanthus, with fruity nuances reminiscent of apricot and leather; oakmoss, with undergrowth accents; and juniper, with woody and smoky tones. Their dosage varies from one composition to another, creating a common thread between the perfumes.
