    Luminous Darkness represents a moon veiled by a shadow that softens its contours, inviting one to look beyond and lose themselves in the subtle dance between light and mystery. The opening is sparkling and luminous: green chinotto and juniper release energy and freshness, awakening the senses. In the heart, absinthe and incense add a veil of mystery, while chinotto flower intertwines with tuberose, jasmine, honey, and amber in a creamy, sensual embrace. The base, warm and persistent, combines patchouli and incense in a balance of depth and light, leaving a unique and refined trail.     From the passion for both the chinotto fruit and the artistic perfumery, Marco Abaton has the idea to capture the scent of all the different facets of this extraordinary citrus, using the flowers and the fruit, both green and ripe. Chinotto is a citrus plant coming from far away, but which finds its ideal home in Savona, a small coastal city in the Liguria Riviera of Ponente. Chinotto is generous. From its rich flowering, its leaves and peels, we could get scented extracts. The scents and colours of the fruits change according to the season and ripeness, turning from bright green to yellow and then orange.
