The Fragrance

A luscious, liqueur-like cherry melts into the powdery meanders of sake captured in headspace. Saffron unfolds its leathery facets, extended by a supple and comforting suede accord. Wood and oakmoss cloak the composition in a muted patina. Kirsch creates an elegant tension between delicacy and animality, crafted by perfumer Paul Guerlain.

Grandson of Jean-Paul Guerlain, Paul Guerlain discovered the ylang-ylang, vanilla, and spice plantations of Mayotte at the age of five.
