The "Une date, une histoire" collection recounts an olfactory odyssey through the founding years of 7, rue du Bourg l'Abbé. A myth that has lasted for almost 140 years.

The Brand

Les Bains Guerbois, a French perfume house, tells the saga of a Haussmann jewel. This building has embodied the history of artistic and intellectual Paris since its inauguration in 1885. It symbolizes the freedom, avant-garde and glamour of the City of Light.

Dominique Ropion's creations are renowned for their perfect olfactory balance. He is a daring perfectionist who takes risks. His fragrances are architectural feats, balancing excessive doses of powerful ingredients with meticulously measured and more subtle accords, until the composition is perfectly balanced.

He has received several awards and distinctions for his contribution to the perfume industry. He was made a Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2012 and received the Prix François Coty in 2008.
