The Fragrance

Summer Verbena is a delicate, fresh-smelling Eau de Parfum. It’s the perfect companion on hot summer days—and even in the heart of winter—to bring you joy and comfort. A unisex, sparkling, and energizing scent that evokes the freshness of an herb garden in the early morning. Let its green notes transport you to the Summer Garden of Saint Petersburg. All our bottles are refillable. Verveine d’Été, created in 1978 by Yuri Gutsatz, was previously known as Verveine Céleste.

The Brand

Paris, 1975. Yuri Gutsatz dared to believe that perfume could do more than just scent the air—it could truly make you feel better. This conviction gave rise to Le Jardin Retrouvé, the world’s first niche perfume house.

Today, Clara Feder and Michel Gutsatz carry on this vision with fragrances crafted from natural ingredients and backed by neuroscience to enhance your well-being—from joy and energy to calm and deep sleep.

No jargon. No labels. Just how a fragrance makes you feel. Smell Good. Feel Good. Do Good.

The Perfumer

Yuri Gutsatz (1914-2005) left his mark on the history of perfumery by championing a simple idea: the perfumer is an author.

Born in Saint Petersburg and later settled in Paris, he worked for Roure before collaborating with several major houses. In 1975, he founded Le Jardin Retrouvé, often regarded as one of the first niche perfume houses created by an independent perfumer. There, he championed free creation, guided by emotion rather than marketing.

As co-founder of the Osmothèque in 1990, he also worked to preserve olfactory heritage. His manifesto, Perfumer, thy name is nobody, remains a reference for all those who advocate recognition for the creator.
