A word from the perfumer, Margaux Le Paih-Guérin: “With Sandal Gold, I wanted to capture the comforting softness of a still-warm banana bread, wrapped in the creamy, bewitching trail of sandalwood. I see this fragrance as the companion piece to Sandal Rice. Where the coffee rice pudding expressed a milky power, Sandal Gold offers a more pastry-like, golden and gourmand interpretation.”

The Perfumer

Margaux Le Paih-Guérin is one of the rising stars of contemporary French perfumery, embodying the fusion of tradition and avant-garde in her creations. Trained in the art of perfumery from childhood in a family perfumery in Brittany, she was influenced by the genuine natural landscapes that surrounded her and by the great perfume classics. 

She has developed a highly personal style, sometimes even described as experimental, incorporating artistic collaborations and exploring the limits of olfaction within the Flair studio, where she says she enjoys total creative freedom. Her creations are characterised by bold accords and an emotional richness that speak directly to perfume lovers in search of distinction.
