Mousse Arashiyama is a unisex Eau de Parfum s that invites contemplation, serenity, and spirituality. In this creation, Maxence Moutte shares his poetic vision of the mossy undergrowth of a Japanese bamboo grove, where one can sense green notes of mastic, plump figs, and dewdrops. Wafts of incense and sacred woods drift from a temple, enhanced by the freshness of bergamot. All our bottles are refillable. Mousse Arashiyama, created in 2021 by Maxence Moutte.

A beautiful evolution where the greenness subsides into a neutral blend of fig leaf and fruit, mixed with quiet, non-calone aquatic notes.

The Perfumer

Maxence Moutte is a French perfumer, a graduate of ISIPCA and Senior Perfumer at Givaudan.

Since the revival of Le Jardin Retrouvé, he has continued the work of its founder Yuri Gutsatz by adapting his historic formulas to current requirements while preserving their identity. He has also created new fragrances, including Mousse Arashiyama, Osmanthe Liu Yuan, Violette Kew and Immortelle Babylone.

His olfactory style favors balance, emotion, and inspiring landscapes, in keeping with a vision in which perfume remains above all a work of creation.
