The fragrance opens with an accord of rich leather shrouded in tobacco smoke, only to swiftly turn to crisp, sparkling notes of gin with a fresh slice of lemon - this feels like the moment when you open the door to a room, where a breath of icy air comes out of the darkness as thick as tar. Here you have to rely on other senses than your sight. Pulsating, dynamic music fills the air in the distance. An art journalist turned self-taught perfumer, Miguel Matos is one of the most distinctive figures in European niche perfumery.
