    The Perfumer

    Nathalie Feisthauer is a singular figure in French perfumery, whose destiny was sealed at the age of sixteen by an olfactory love at first sight. Trained at the Roure school in Grasse, she was one of the first women to make her mark in the industry without coming from a line of perfumers.

    After three decades of success with giants such as Givaudan and Symrise, including a landmark stint in New York, she has since founded her own studio, LAB Scent, in Montmartre.

    Her creative style is defined by a quest for purity and meaning. Her writing is direct, precise and deeply emotional. For her, perfume is an art of encounter. Human interaction is a constant source of inspiration as she transforms noble raw materials into bold signatures, whether intimate or explosive, but always perfectly constructed.
