Amber Aquilaria opens with a bright, sparkling bergamot which melts into a heart rich with floral elements: rose, jasmine, and geranium. Velvety petals support the composition as the gentle, rounded warmth of cognac starts to emerge, leading through to a warm woody base sweetened with sandalwood and vanilla. The aquilaria oud as the final point in the composition is warm, rich, a touch spicy, and very refined.     The Perfumer

    Born into a family with a passion for scents, Julien Rasquinet discovered the olfactory riches of nature at a very early age.

    After graduating from business school, he changed direction after meeting one of France's greatest perfumers, Pierre Bourdon, who passed on his know-how and artistic vision, inherited from his own master, Edmond Roudnitska.

    He creates fragrances that reflect his taste for orientalism, combining spicy, woody, amber and floral notes. He also likes to play with contrasts and unexpected combinations.
