The Fragrance

Mocha Absolu is a woody gourmand fragrance with the Dusita signature, both indulgent and enveloping, luminous and refined. Created for the house’s 10th anniversary, it is inspired by a childhood memory of perfumer Pissara Umavijani: coming home from school to the smell of hot mocha and Thai tea, while her father wrote at his desk. The fragrance evokes returning home after a long day, to find your favorite drink carefully prepared. The top notes combine Arabica coffee, Thai tea, and dark chocolate. The heart unfolds with roasted almond, caramelized milk, and vanilla. The base rests on sandalwood, tonka bean, and benzoin. A Thai tea accord, Pissara’s signature, brings an unexpected freshness to the gourmand base. Delicious, comforting, nostalgic.

This passion for refined perfumes begins with a love for French perfumery. The House adds to this the knowledge of fragrant oils, powders, and resins from its Thai heritage.

The internationally awarded Dusita perfumes are enriched by Pissara's boldly creative and contemporary touches, making them both current and timeless.

The Perfumer

Pissara Umavijani grew up in Thailand, in a house filled with books and poetry. A young artist passionate about fragrances, she began to create her own perfumes, mixing rare and precious scents.

She dreamed of opening her own Perfume House, and in 2011, she brought her dreams and creations to Paris. After learning the science of perfumes on her own, she continued to produce her first collection of exclusive fragrances with a large perfume production house in Grasse.

Parfums Dusita was launched in 2016, becoming the newest Maison de Haute Parfumerie in France.
