It was, in fact, her first booking, she feels strong, free, and in tune with the landscape surrounding her. She thinks of Thelma and Louise, of that deep female friendship, and of that line that resonates: “No matter what happens, I’m glad I came with you”, of the music that carried them across the country, and the film’s nearly novel-like story. The smell surprises her. She hadn’t expected this scorching sun to release a scent that smells so wonderfully of summer. That will be her definition of ARIZONA.
