The Fragrance

The inspiration: "My father speaks of the immense presence of love in one of his poems: “Love is like a flower blooming in an empty room”. I wanted to create a perfume that would represent the purity of love, full-bodied enough to literally fill up the space around the wearer. Regarding the perfume’s name, when I used to play the violin as a child, I especially loved Edward Elgar’s “Salut d’amour”; I wanted to associate this memory with a fragrance that would represent that fulfilling melody of love. I composed this perfume mainly around a grand, memorable bouquet of opulent white flowers (Gardenia, Tuberose, Indian Jasmine), framed by Peach, Broom and Wild Honey accents, while a base of Musk and Virginian Cedarwood grounds the composition, providing it with additional depth and complexity." – Pissara Umavijani"

The Perfumer

Pissara Umavijani grew up in Thailand, in a house filled with books and poetry. A young artist passionate about fragrances, she began to create her own perfumes, mixing rare and precious scents.

She dreamed of opening her own Perfume House, and in 2011, she brought her dreams and creations to Paris. After learning the science of perfumes on her own, she continued to produce her first collection of exclusive fragrances with a large perfume production house in Grasse.

Parfums Dusita was launched in 2016, becoming the newest Maison de Haute Parfumerie in France.
