The Story of Maison Cataliya

Founded by Dahmane Ouafi, this brand was born from his unconditional love for his eldest daughter, Cataliya. He wanted to pass on to her, through high perfumery, the richness of his cultural heritage.

Passionate about perfumes, a former distributor and owner of another brand, Dahmane created Maison Cataliya to give himself total creative freedom.

Dahmane Ouafi, born near Algiers, spent a decade distributing French perfume brands in Africa before creating his own brand, Maison Maïssa, at the age of 34, named after his daughter. Passionate about beauty and the hidden treasures of his country, he values his heritage through his perfumes. In 2024, he created Maison Cataliya, an artistic fusion between ceramists and perfumers, tirelessly exploring new inspirations through his travels to enrich his creations.
