The Founder
Inspired by the beauty and rarity of the diamond, Daniel Paillasseur acquired the legendary “Black Korloff” and named his jewelry house in honor of its former owners. For eighteen months, the exceptional hardness of the Korloff Black Diamond was meticulously worked to reveal a mysterious 88-carat brilliance. Forty-five years later, the Korloff Black remains a source of inspiration, embodying the soul and essence of the house.
With a boutique at 12 rue de la Paix, in the heart of Paris’s diamond district, and a network of exclusive boutiques and corners in fifty countries, Korloff is renowned for its K73 and K88 diamond cuts, which pay homage to the octagonal shape of the Place Vendôme and the house’s iconic black diamond.
