The Founder

Dr Frida Michailidou is an award-winning scientist with a lifelong passion for nature and innovation. Born and raised in Greece, she was fascinated from an early age by the fragrances of her country's rich botanical heritage. As a lecturer at ETH Zurich, she led a pioneering scientific expedition to Mount Olympus and was the first to decode the scents of its rare plants using non-destructive technology. As winner of the MIT Innovator Under 35 Europe award and TEDx speaker, she has taken her vision to the international stage. With the launch of OLYMRA, she has realized the culmination of her lifelong passion: fusing botanical and Greek heritage with modern science to create fragrances that are both timeless and sustainable.
