The Fragrance

The inspiration: "I wanted to compose a fragrant hymn to human compassion, conducted with the spirit of “joie de vivre”. Taking inspiration from my father’s poetry, I conceived a fragrance that aims to celebrate joy, as well as humankind’s limitless capacity for love and kindness. Furthermore, Cavatina bridges the French classic perfume heritage with traditional Siamese aromatic treasures. The creation of Cavatina was guided by my love for vintage muguet-centered fragrances.

I constructed my own lily of the valley note, as well as a new floral accord (Jasmine, Tuberose and Tea Rose) accented with luminous Aldehydes, completing the composition with sensual Vanilla and aromatic Siamese Woods. Cavatina is a fragrance that is at once current and timeless, one that is meant to enhance the wearer’s innate sophistication." – Pissara Umavijani

This passion for refined perfumes begins with a love for French perfumery. The House adds to this the knowledge of fragrant oils, powders, and resins from its Thai heritage.

The internationally awarded Dusita perfumes are enriched by Pissara's boldly creative and contemporary touches, making them both current and timeless.

The Perfumer

Pissara Umavijani grew up in Thailand, in a house filled with books and poetry. A young artist passionate about fragrances, she began to create her own perfumes, mixing rare and precious scents.

She dreamed of opening her own Perfume House, and in 2011, she brought her dreams and creations to Paris. After learning the science of perfumes on her own, she continued to produce her first collection of exclusive fragrances with a large perfume production house in Grasse.

Parfums Dusita was launched in 2016, becoming the newest Maison de Haute Parfumerie in France.
