The Perfumer

Independent perfumer and president of the Osmothèque in Versailles, Thomas Fontaine cultivates a fascinating relationship with olfactory memory.

Trained at ISIPCA and having worked at Procter & Gamble, Charabot, and MANE, he has built a career that has taken him from major international houses to the historic signatures of French perfumery.

Founder of Pallida, he creates fragrances for Lubin, Jean Patou, Jean-Charles Brosseau, and Le Galion, with particular attention paid to the identity of the houses and their heritage.

At the head of the Osmothèque since 2020, he also works to preserve and revive forgotten perfumes, embodying a vision of perfumery in which each fragrance also carries the memory of its era.
