        The Fragrance

        Sometimes the moon is not just a silver beacon, but a ripe and inviting fruit, suspended in the sky, ready to be plucked. Mischievous and playful, it illuminates softly, transforming the atmosphere into a suspended enchantment, an invitation full of joyful promises. Fruit of the Moon is born from the elegant structure of Luminous Darkness, wrapped in a gourmand embrace celebrating sensory pleasure. It is the most indulgent and seductive side of the moon, where nocturnal charm and sinful sweetness intertwine. The opening is bright and fruity: orange, bergamot, lemon, and coconut, enriched with hints of anise and bitter almond, release energy and liveliness. At the heart, cherry, violet, banana, strawberry, and peach blend with tuberose, ylang-ylang, and jasmine, creating a sensual and enveloping composition. The base, warm and persistent, unites vanilla, tonka bean, musk, sandalwood, and cedar, while patchouli, amber, and green chinotto leaves whisper the arrival of the night. A fragrance that invites surrendering to pleasure, to bite into the night like a forbidden fruit, leaving in the air the memory of an intense and unforgettable desire.

        The Brand

        From a small citrus, great excellences are born.

        Three unique fragrances, connected by a precious element, the chinotto fruit. A citrus plant that comes from afar: imported from China by a Savonese sailor in 1500, considered an amulet on ships to fight scurvy and give strength and vigor to sailors.

        Its cultivation spread in the town of Savona, sold mainly as a medicine until 1800, then the transformation into candied fruit and jams began. Typical souvenir and fundamental tradition for the people of Savona. In 1930, the beverage was born, which becomes a cult phenomenon.

        Today, chinotto is an icon of vintage originality, proudly Italian, both in the food, cosmetic and tourist and artistic sector... a great story in continuous evolution all to discover!

        The Perfumer

        From the passion for both the chinotto fruit and the artistic perfumery, Marco Abaton has the idea to capture the scent of all the different facets of this extraordinary citrus, using the flowers and the fruit, both green and ripe. Chinotto is a citrus plant coming from far away, but which finds its ideal home in Savona, a small coastal city in the Liguria Riviera of Ponente. Chinotto is generous. From its rich flowering, its leaves and peels, we could get scented extracts. The scents and colours of the fruits change according to the season and ripeness, turning from bright green to yellow and then orange.
