CRAY: A Contemporary Vision of French Niche Perfumery

CRAY reinterprets the codes of French fine perfumery through a collection of seven eau de parfums, crafted from carefully selected raw materials and united by a shared olfactory signature. At the heart of the collection is perfumer Jean-Michel Duriez, formerly a perfumer for Patou and Rochas, who creates compositions in which citrus, florals, woods and gourmand accords meet with finesse. The house explores the green facets of maté, the fruity nuances of osmanthus and the woody depth of oakmoss. These materials come together in a shared accord named Fleur de Cuir, which connects the different fragrances and invites them to be layered according to personal preference. CRAY also pays close attention to how its perfumes are made. The formulas favour ingredients of natural origin and incorporate upcycled materials. The bottles are made in France using glass containing recycled materials. Designed to last, they can be refilled.
