A Legacy Rooted in Asia

Elizabeth Liau is a true curator of emotion and memory, transforming her deep connections to Asia and the world into fragrances that speak to the soul. As the creative force behind Maison de L’Asie, her journey in perfumery is marked by a rare blend of artistry and cultural reverence. Trained in both traditional methods and modern olfactory innovations, Liau crafts perfumes that are as intricate as they are evocative, each one telling a story that captivates the wearer.

The Power of Storytelling through Scents

Born in Singapore, Liau’s exposure to the rich diversity of Asian cultures deeply influenced her philosophy of perfumery. She views scent as a powerful narrative tool, capable of transporting individuals into different worlds. This perspective, paired with her fascination with French perfumery techniques, gives her work a distinctive edge. At the heart of her creative process is an emphasis on storytelling—each fragrance is a journey through time, memory, and place. Her compositions are built on an impeccable understanding of raw materials, where every note, ingredient, and accord is chosen not just for its olfactory quality but for the emotional resonance it brings.

Signature Scents that Evoke Places, Cultures, and Moments

One of Elizabeth Liau's hallmarks is her ability to weave personal stories into her fragrances, making them highly individual yet universally appealing. Her signature scents such as Bali Ha’i and Nanyang are perfect examples of this. Bali Ha’i transports the wearer to the lush, tropical landscape of Indonesia, while Nanyang pays homage to the rich history and vibrant multiculturalism of Singapore. Each creation is crafted with the finest ingredients sourced globally, from exotic florals to rare spices, combined in a way that feels both timeless and contemporary.

Redefining Luxury with Every Note

Maison de L’Asie, under Liau’s leadership, has established itself as a brand that goes beyond conventional luxury. It embraces a philosophy that values craftsmanship, deep cultural roots, and a commitment to creating perfumes that are both artistic and evocative. Liau's fragrances are not mere accessories; they are experiences, designed to unfold gradually, revealing layers of complexity as they evolve on the skin.

Exquisite Strength: The Enduring Power of Extrait de Parfum

At Maison de L'Asie, every fragrance is crafted as an extrait de parfum, a mark of true luxury in the world of perfumery. This concentration ensures an unparalleled richness, offering not only depth but also a remarkable longevity on the skin. With just a few drops, each fragrance envelops the wearer in a lasting, powerful sillage that leaves a trail of elegance and sophistication. For those seeking intensity and a fragrance that evolves beautifully over time, the extrait de parfum concentration defines the Maison’s commitment to excellence and lasting impressions.
