HEMCAEL, founded in 2018 by artist Cael Pipin, emerged as a prestigious Italian brand that blends art, design, and craftsmanship to create unique and exclusive pieces entirely made in Italy. 

In the same year, HEMCAEL established its maison-gallery in the heart of Milan, the global capital of fashion and style.

"HEMCAEL has a clear ambition: to elevate perfume into a total art object, a fusion of sculptural design, elite Italian craftsmanship, and demanding olfactory exploration. Created by the artist Cael Pipin, this Italian house asserts its position between sculpture and haute parfumerie. And it must be said, the bottles command respect. They are objects that one admires even before unlocking their olfactory soul.

But behind the aesthetics lies what truly interests me: the perfumed material. Here, there are no mass-market perfumes disguised as niches: only works for discerning connoisseurs. The compositions, designed in part by Chris Maurice, avoid the pitfalls of déjà vu. I find bold contrasts, finely crafted accords, and material choices that reflect a genuine search for expressiveness.

I recommend HEMCAEL to those looking for a perfume that feels like a personal manifesto rather than a simple accessory. But I warn you: this house does not will not appeal to those seeking immediacy or ease. HEMCAEL requires attention, time, and an appreciation for detail to be mastered.
