The history
Artimique Perfumes is a new independent perfume house founded in Venice. The mission of this House is to capture memories, stories, and emotions and transform them into elegant and timeless products, combining the knowledge and quality of classic perfumes from the past with originality and modernity.
All the formulas of Artimique's niche perfumes are the result of the slow alchemical fusion of creativity, art, and chemistry, hence the name of the brand, "arte" + "chimique".
The founder
As a child, Sara Marzocchini played in the small family perfumery. Her Tuscan father and Venetian mother gave her perfume Samples from which she created blends. The memory of these magical elixirs from her childhood led her to conceive Artimique. Of course, her childhood dreams are just part of Sara's story. She also set out to acquire all the necessary skills to become an expert perfumer, each step bringing her closer to her goal. A degree in chemistry and pharmaceutical technologies, the prestigious summer perfumery school GIP in Grasse, and a perfumery laboratory in Florence. All of this, combined with a deep knowledge of classic perfumes, gave birth to Artimique.

Sara Marzocchini founded this Venetian house with a rare profile in independent perfumery: a rigorous scientific background, an intimate knowledge of raw materials, and the ability to engage on equal terms with the noses she collaborates with. This is not a detail. In an industry where the relationship between founder and perfumer is often that of a client facing a technician, Sara Marzocchini operates differently. She co-constructs the formulas, and you can feel it.
What convinced me to include Artimique in the Scentissime selection is primarily the quality of the work on raw materials. The house sources its ingredients from Grasse, favors supercritical CO2 extractions when they allow for the preservation of the integrity of the materials, and uses top-quality absolutes: sambac jasmine, Indian jasmine, Egyptian jasmine, tuberose, and tiaré for the sole Jasmin Gyokuro. This is not a list of notes intended to impress on a product sheet. It is the choice of a founder who knows the cost of quality and decides to pursue it anyway."
